Since 1981, a biannual article entitled "Proceedings of the Minnesota Ornithological Records Committee" has appeared in The Loon. These have been indexed only when a specific record is concerned, and without regard to whether or not the record was accepted by the Committee. Name changes, species status or other issues discussed by the Committee are not cited.

Seasonal Reports are not cited in this index.

This index is the result of several years of volunteer work by Parker Backstrom, Ann Hertzel, Anthony Hertzel, Laurie Hertzel and Nancy Hertzel. Translation for the internet by Anthony Hertzel and Dave Cahlander.
