Least Bittern in Anoka County

Occasional in Anoka County in the Fall season

This Least Bittern was first reported at Springbrook Nature Center in Fridley on September 23 by Dan Ahlman, and seen again on the 24th and 25th. The bird has mostly been seen from the boardwalk and the floating platform overlooking open water, just west and southwest of the parking lot.
