This is the Minnesota Birding Report for Thursday, September 25th 2008.

On September 19th, a ROCK WREN was reported from the top of Inspiration
Peak State Wayside Park in Otter Tail County. This is just west of
Urbank. No further updates have been forthcoming. Interestingly, on the
25th, another ROCK WREN was discovered in the Grand Marais, Cook County,
campground. It was reported from a large dirt pile near the yellow
maintenance garages.

Two PARASITIC JAEGERS were at the end of Park Point in Duluth on the
21st. At the same time, a possible LITTLE GULL was seen off the 12th
Street access of the point.

The first HARRIS'S SPARROW of the fall was reported on the 19th along
the Blue Hill Trail at Sherburne NWR in Sherburne County, and the first
SNOW BUNTINGS were seen on the 21st in Duluth. The first ROSS'S GEESE of
the fall were at Lakeview Golf Course in Two Harbors, Lake County on the
24th, and a migrant SPOTTED TOWHEE was in a yard in Moorhead, Clay
County, on the same day.

The next scheduled update of this tape is Thursday, October 2nd 2008.
